I live in Arlington, VA and work for a non-profit organization in downtown Washington, D.C. I love to interact with different people in different settings and at different events. So, this is a place for me to write about the conversations I have along the way, touching on everyday topics of life such as politics, family, faith, sports, and food, while also exploring the dynamics (and quirks) of human interaction.

If there’s a specific topic or question you would like to hear how different people would respond to, please email theconversationguy@gmail.com.

Also, please follow me on twitter, user-name: convoguy (http://twitter.com/convoguy)

  1. This is great! I’m one of those people that is terrible at starting conversations, but loves to hear about them. D.C. is especially interesting because I’m planning to work there this Spring, so keep up the interesting conversations and maybe we’ll run into each other πŸ™‚

  2. Thanks Carol! You actually just started a conversation (even though it’s online) and I think you did a fantastic job! πŸ™‚ I look forward to running into you when you make it to DC. In the meanwhile, try starting more conversations and tell me how it goes and I’ll post it on here – theconversationguy@gmail.com – P.S…a good start to any conversation is simply a smile and hello… Thanks for the comment! Have a great week!
